I Finally Have Had Enough

I am over wearing the hats and the scarves. Today was the first day that I went bare on the head in eight months. It felt good. I hope that I have the nerve to go to school like this on Monday. It is still very thin on top, but I really don't think that the students will care.

I AM FINISHED WITH RADIATION!!!!

I just got home from my last radiation treatment. All done with third phase of fight. I thought that it would never end. Yeah! The techs asked how I would celebrate this weekend. I told them that I would probably sleep. Sounds exciting, eh?

On Sunday we walk to Magazine Street only 4 blocks away from home to see the Krewe of Mid City. Here I am with Zachary and Joshua. They will be heading back to Virginia in a couple of hours.

Mardi Gras is wearing me out, and I haven't even been on the streets very much. You wouldn't know that it was Mardi Gras by looking at this picture, but believe me there were lots of people standing around waiting for the Krewe of Proteus to start.


Yeah! there are only three more radiation treatments before I can say goodbye to this phase of my fight.

Hair Update

I thought that I would show you how my hair is growing. It is still too short to go unadorned of hat or scarf, but it is showing a lot more growth than the last picture that I posted.
